Congratulations to the Auckland Representative Team for Timberlands 2012 on finishing a fantastic 2nd place. 6 riders from the Auckland District were chosen for the team, with 5 riders from our own Whitford Pony Club. Well done girls on your fantastic results for the weekend. From left to right
Located on the beautiful Pohutukawa Coast, the picturesque 32 acres bordering the estuary has been home to WPC since 1979. Having produced some of Auckland’s top representative riders over the past years, our aim is to continue to provide our members of today and our future with a Club that caters to all levels of riding, offering quality coaching and the necessary facilities to achieve their goals. Our challenging cross-country course ranges from Intro to Open levels, and with our annual 2day event each December being one you don’t want to miss!
Whether your preference is dressage, showjumping, eventing, games or just having fun with your equine friends, WPC is not just a place that teaches all things equine, but is a club where long-term friendships are made, and for some a place where dreams can become a reality.

A piece of our history- Did you know?
In the1880’s a barge laden with a solid kauri building leaves Auckland City to its destination of the historic Whitford Brick Works. A team of bullocks impressively drags the house 400 meters from the shoreline, to become the home of the Works Manager. It is that same home, which today, and for the past 29 years is the clubrooms for the Whitford Pony Club. Still located on the grounds is one of two of the workers brick cottages…. Both buildings over 100 years old!
